As a child I loved to curl up in my Mother's lap while she read a story to me, and as I learned to read on my own; I always had a book in hand.

As a child I loved to curl up in my Mother's lap while she read a story to me, and as I learned to read on my own; I always had a book in hand.

As an adult, I loved my children to curl up in my lap while I read to them. Unfortunately, my children are now to big to curl up in my lap and they would rather not be read to, but read for themselves.

Oh how I miss those times! I miss the fun and silliness of a children's poem or story. I miss the rich illistrations in those beloved books for children....

So, I guess I'll try to write for someone else's child to enjoy as they are curled up in their Mother's (or Father's) lap.
